Connect Google Search Console

Give AgencyHub read-only access to a client’s Search Console so traffic and rankings appear.

Visitors, rankings, best pages and most opportunities come from Google Search Console. Access is read-only: AgencyHub can never change anything in the Google account.

Before you start

  • The workspace needs a website domain (see Create a client workspace).
  • You need a Google account that has access to the client’s Search Console property. Any agency team member or the client’s CEO login can connect.

Connect

  1. Open the client workspace and click Search Console in the sidebar.
  2. On the Connect Google Search Console card click Connect with Google.
  3. Choose the Google account and allow read-only access.
  4. You are returned to AgencyHub with Google Search Console connected. Data appears within a minute.

How the property is chosen

You never pick a property by hand. AgencyHub matches the workspace domain automatically, in this order: the Domain property (sc-domain:), then the site’s main URL-prefix property, then other http/https and www variants, then a parent Domain property for subdomains.

If it says “Domain not found in Search Console”

  1. Look at the list of properties shown: they are the ones that Google account can see.
  2. In Google Search Console, open the client’s property, go to Settings → Users and permissions and add the Google account you connected. Or click Change account and connect one that already has access.
  3. Back in AgencyHub, click Re-check property.

Change or disconnect

Once connected, the bar at the top shows Connected as … with Re-check property, Change account and Disconnect. Disconnecting removes the connection and cached data; saved monthly report cards stay.
